Flood Map of the Watershed

Zone AE on a flood map designates high risk areas that are designated by FEMA because of the 1% annual risk for flooding. Many areas in Chesterfield Heights and Grandy Village are AE zones, but many residences are slowly lowering flooding risks because of Best Management Practices (BMPs) such as Bioswales and Permeable pavement.
