5 Invasive Species You Can Find In Virginia

Today, I wanted to share with you all 5 invasive species that can be found here in Virginia- maybe even here in Norfolk!

I wonder if any of you remember when news first broke about the Spotted Lanternfly! I remembered traveling to New York with a group of friends a while after we first heard about it. The streets and sidewalks of New York were absolutely coated with crawling and flying critters!

At this time, the news advised about how it was important to destroy any nests and the Spotted Lanternflys, too. You can imagine the horror on my face as I saw hundreds of New Yorkers wildly stomping all over the city!
